HELSINKI PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL 2009
The 11th edition of the Helsinki Photography Festival opens January 21. 2009 in Helsinki, Finland.
The four-day opening of the festival includes two main exhibitions, a two-day symposium, as well as other exhibitions and happenings at various venues in the Helsinki metropolitan area.
Helsinki Photography Festival 2009 is organized by the Union of Artist Photographers in Finland/Photographic Gallery Hippolyte in collaboration with Helsinki City Art Museum/Meilahti Art Museum and The Finnish Museum of Photography.

LORETTA LUX

Med sitt säregna uttryck har den fotografiska konstnären Loretta Lux de senaste åren rönt stor internationell uppmärksamhet. Hennes intensiva bildvärld bränner sig fast på näthinnan och lämnar ingen oberörd. Nu visas Loretta Lux för första gången i Sverige i en utställning som presenterar ett sjuttiotal verk utförda mellan 2000 och 2008.
